Red alert, red alert!!!

Red alert, red alert!!!
Mommy is taking a shower. I'd better go check and see if she will be okay without me. Oh looks like she is okay. I think I should bring my baby sister over to show her the bathroom door is closed. Look Kylee mommy is in there and we are not. Well Kylee really want's to go in. Since I know mommy doesn't want us in there because Kylee will bang on the shower door and take all items out of the dwarers and closet. I will leave the bathroom door closed but I will allow Kylee to bang widly on the bathroom door and scream. In fact I will go ahead and join in. Screaming and banging like a 1 year. Because the fact that mommy is doing something without me is unbearable.

Sunday Busy Sunday

Well it was an action packed Sunday. I started out my Sunday with a six mile run. After showering I whisked the girls to the park for playgroup. It was so lovely to see my friends again. Kylee was so happy to see her buddy's. She also seemed happy to see the other mommy's. Chenoa was hoping for her friend Morgan to be there. Her whole day brightened when she saw Morgan walking up from her car. I also invited a school friend to come along. She is hoping to join the our mommy club. It was awfully hot at the park today, but, we made the best of it.

Kylee fell asleep in the car on the way home. After putting her in the crib. Chenoa helped me clean up. I found Marc outside with his bike. We decided to wash the car in the shade. Marc's mom Pat made her way over when we were finishing up with the car. We woke Kylee up a bit early because we had to make it to the car show in Livermore. Wow, this heat was overwhelming. We had little shade in the middle of the street, of course. However, Pat a had a great idea of getting some smoothies. They had lot's of ice in them.... perfect. The girls were happy while we watched the winner's cruise by. We all decided to try the restaurant Strissis. After all we were standing right in front of it. Not sure how I feel about the restaurant. What was up with all the flies? And Marc said his potato fries were reheated.

We headed home to get ready for my mom and dad to come over. Luckily, my mom had the fabulous idea of going for frozen yogurt. I perked right up from my exhaustion with thoughts of blueberrie acai and pomegranate frozen yogurt. Awesome idea mom! I even roped them in for Friday night babysitting. So I can sleep in Saturday morning after being out late dancing with the girls. We ended the day perfectly. Refreshed and cooled from a busy hot day.

Home All Week

A whole week has gone by and I haven't even blogged. I must have been busy this week. Kylee was sick last weekend and sick again with a new cold at the end of the week. I stayed home with her all week. Well from work at least. Not from school. I survived through my anatomy test. Chenoa was star of the week. And Marc and I finally had our date night again!! The sitter came an hour early so we had plenty of time for dinner, movies, and the bookstore. Things went very smoothly with bed time and the sitter was sure to tell me how sweet our girls are before she left. I am looking forward to date night two weeks away.
I have been enjoying mandatory home time with Kylee. I am getting ahead with my studying and I even organized the shoes in the shoe closet. Kylee has been having a pretty good time also. Chenoa and Kylee found the outdoor shade tent in the garage. We set it up in the living room. The girls spend a lot of time playing and sitting in it. It feels good to have a Saturday off.

Get Organized

Today was the day to get things organized. Well I decided today was the day for a family meeting. I made a list of chores to be checked off daily. Because I have come to realize that after all. I really can't do everything. This went well. I am confident I will get morehelp around the house. My proof is Chenoa and Marc currently folding the laundry. Thank God!!

Saturday Night

Work surprisingly became busy. This morning the schedule showed slow for the spa. Everyone wanted a last minute massage today. I ended up being pretty busy. On the way home from work I decided the family should go out to dinner. We went to Armadillo Willy's. Kylee was very quiet she was eating the whole time. She was still eating after everyone had finished. While we were eating Chenoa told us about the boy she likes in school. Yes Chenoa is comfortable talking to us about boyfriends and pretty much anything else you can think of. When we got home it was very close to bed time. I brought Kylee straight to bath since she had already been yawning. Chenoa came in and asked to please take a bath with Kylee. They had never done this before. Not sure why. My bath tub picture with my sister is still up at my moms. Luckily I had my handy dandy camera to record this momentous occasion.

Kylee and I hung out all morning

Kylee and I hung out all morning. I got myself and the girls ready and out the door on time. We dropped Chenoa off this morning. I wished her good luck on her spelling test. She became upset; she had forgotten to look over her flashcards this morning. I gave her a hug told her she would be okay she studied all week and took a practice test the night before. I admire her dedication in school work. I hope she is not too hard on herself when she is older. Although I definitely hope she keeps up the good work. Kylee and I headed over to Gymboree. I am finally able to fit in classes now that Chenoa is in school. Kylee and I stopped at the donut store since we were early. Kylee tried her first donut and immediately spit it out. I am okay with this since donuts are not the best habit for a baby to pick up. Kylee mostly enjoyed Gymboree. I am going to try her in the older class next week. The activities were very easy for Kylee and she was bored of them after a couple of tries. There were a couple of other kids her age but they were still working on walking and Kylee was literally running across the room. So I think an older class will be more fun for Kylee. After gym Kylee and I headed over to Best Buy to look at cameras. Kylee seemed pretty hungry so we made a detour to the Starbuck and had fruit and cheese. I of course had some much wanted caffeine. As we hung out at Starbucks I smiled. It was so nice to just hang out. We ran over to Best Buy I picked a Canon Power Shot camera. I changed my camera choice at the last minute so I hope it works out. I've needed a camera for months now. The guilt of not taking pictures has finally over taken the guilt that I will have for spending the dough. I also really need a printer. That's next on my list. Kylee is sleeping already she was tired. Now all I have to do is clean the house. It has been pretty neglected this week. Chenoa's swim buddy Tara is coming over for a play date today after school. Somewhere in this equation I need to put in a couple hours studying for my Anatomy test. I guess I am going to skip working out today. There is no way I am fitting that in!

This Is My Future

I rocked the house with my speech. I guess my class isn't so bad. I haven't seen that really immature guy anymore. Thank god. It's hard enough doing a speech. But doing a speech in front of unpredictable person is overwhelming. Anyhow, I made it through my crazy day. I have an Anatomy lecture test and lab test next Wed. I am trying not to freak out here. But, when the helper/tutor for this class accidentally slips up and talks about how our test is really hard and she couldn't do it. It can be bit scary. My "hybrid" class is in it's first semester. I am getting a little nervous here. This is my future we are talking about.

Tomorrow is my morning lab. Then I look forward to having some much needed family time. I can't wait to hang with my girls and my Hubby! I will take the whole afternoon of and just be a mommy and a wife:)
